Not Child Abuse by SouloftheNorth Not Child Abuse by SouloftheNorth
"Abortion isn't child abuse. Forcing an unwanted child to be born is."
I'm sure you've seen someone say abortion is child abuse. But it's really not.
Know what is? Forcing an unwanted child into the world. They'll either grow up in a family that doesn't want them or be put in the adoption system, where they might get adopted, if they're an able-bodied white child.
Forced-birthers Pro-lifers, do you really want that? Really?

ESPECIALLY if that unwanted child has a congenital condition or a birth defect leading to debilitating symptoms and painful surgeries and the family wouldn't be able to keep up with the medical costs and the child almost certainly won't make it to age 10 anyway.

Say there was a boy born to a mother who couldn't afford to keep the house she lived in and had to hide behind tables and chairs when people came to claim the rent fee, her husband was a rough ex-military man, a drunkard, didn't help his family financially, and abusive to the point that the boy had to place his tiny seven-year-old body between his father's fist and his mother's face to protect her. Do you think that boy should have been aborted so he wouldn't have to endure all that?

Personally, if I were in the mother's situation, I would've aborted.
However, if the mother herself wanted the child, the child isn't unwanted.
Also, if the boy is already seven, that's way past any point there could've been an abortion.

Wha...? That's like saying if an old person is unwanted by their family that it's less cruel to euthanize them than to let them live. Your logic doesn't stick, my fellow human.

Aborting a non-thinking, non-feeling fetus is not the same as killing a sentient human.

You can dribble that filth from your mouth till your lips drop off, but that doesn't make it true. Have you ever seen an abortion? The fetus tries to get away from what's killing it. And that's not counting the fact that it is NOT part of the mother's body; it is a seperate organism with it's own DNA.

Most abortions take place at 8 weeks, when the fetus is capable of feeling pain. The fetus usually tries to get away from the vacuum as its body is torn apart, convulses painfully as the saline solution dissolves its skin off, or struggles as the forced labor of its mother tears off its limbs. The abortion agencies don't want us to know that information, but all we have to do is research how abortions are done.

I don't believe I need to elaborate on late-term abortion methods.

This idea is prety right, for sure.

I'm not a religious guy, but I don't like the idea of putting a new born in this world knowing he/she will suffer as we do.

I'm very curious, why do you say that and on what information are you basing this off of? To me, abortion does equal abuse because you're killing the child in the womb, as well as having the mother who aborted the child suffer increased risk of breast cancer, AIDS, various internal damages, psychological breakdowns to the point of suicide, etc. So, I ask you, which is worse?
